Using the google doc in google classroom answer the following questions, be prepared to share your answers:

• What are some of the reasons you want to learn about ESS?
• To what extent do you believe the studying of ESS is important in the future of our planet?

Once you have completed this watch the clip from the film 'The Lorax' and answer the following question:

• In 'The Lorax' to what extent does Dr Suess' realistically capture humans relationship with our planet?

Finally read the article about Sir David Attenborough and answer the following question on the same doc:

• How optimistic are you about the future of the environment? Justify your answer.
