Starter Activity

Everyone should have some previous knowledge of the hydrological cycle. Whether you learnt about evaporation and precipitation in primary or middle school to watching the news about droughts or floods. You will build on this knowledge during this unit. To start in a group of three or four use the paper provided to create a presentation to explain the hydrological cycle. Your presentation should include an:

• Introduction
• Diagram (Stores and Flows)
• One impact humans have on the cycle
• One way to prevent/remediate this impact

You will present to the group tomorrow.
